Urgent requirement: we are hiring a furniture maker in Jim Hogg County, Texas. Your main tasks: • Erect formwork and shuttering for concrete pours • Fix studwork and plasterboard partitions • Lay laminate, engineered and solid wood flooring • Cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet • Finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain What we are looking for: • Confident with hand and power tools such as saws, routers and planers • Accurate to fine tolerances on finish work At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
