Elevator repair technician — Columbiana County

Join our team: we are hiring an elevator repair technician in Columbiana County, Ohio. You will work at a busy lift company. The role involves set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear; mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators; install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway; respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers; test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake; carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes. You should have: • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics Full-time with occasional weekends.
