Join our team: we are hiring a steel erection rigger in Oxford County, Maine. You will be based on a high-rise building site. Requirements: • Confident with standard crane hand signals • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness Day to day you will fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads; tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear; establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area; take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings; secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists.
