Great opportunity: aluminium TIG welder (Colorado)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an aluminium TIG welder in Summit County, Colorado. You will be based on a structural steel site. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols Day-to-day duties: • Set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing • Weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through • Feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool Rotating shifts.
