The role involves clean trowels, buckets and mixers before the plaster sets; check walls for plumb and level as you go; apply scratch coats and key the surface for the next coat; mix gypsum plaster and cement render to a workable consistency; skim plasterboard to a smooth finish ready for decoration; dot-and-dab plasterboard to walls and ceilings.
