Urgent requirement: steel erection rigger (Indiana)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a steel erection rigger in Warren County, Indiana. The job is at a shipyard. The role involves: • Establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area • Select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight • Secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists • Attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks • Read lift plans and method statements before starting What we are looking for: • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites • Confident with standard crane hand signals • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
