Vacancy available: we are hiring a rebar fixer in Itesiwaju, Oyo State. The job is on a civil engineering bridge and roads site. Requirements: • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling The role involves set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift; bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine; form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions; check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour; cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder; read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules. Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Pay around ₦275,000 per month, based on your experience. Meals and transport allowance provided. Rotating shifts.
