Rebar foreman • Cecil County, Maryland

Join our team: we are hiring a rebar foreman in Cecil County, Maryland. You will be based on a civil engineering bridge and roads site. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates Day-to-day duties: • Lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman • Read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder • Lap and splice bars to the specified lap length Pay around $24 per hour, based on your experience. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
