We are recruiting: we are hiring a dogger in Winnebago County, Wisconsin. You will be based at a container port. You will inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use; tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear; direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio; read lift plans and method statements before starting; check sling angles to stay within the working load limit. What we are looking for: • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles Performance bonus on top of base pay.
