Ironing operator — Chattooga County

Join our team: we are hiring an ironing operator in Chattooga County, Georgia. You will work at a textile finishing unit. On a typical shift you will check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots; remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron; sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number; meet the daily piece target without damaging garments; spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
