Immediate opening: we are hiring a shuttering fixer in Dallas County, Iowa. The role involves set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking; apply mould-release oil to the plywood faces before concreting; erect wall and column formwork to line, level and plumb; read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters. Requirements: • Hands-on with timber, plywood and system formwork • Knows de-shuttering times and concrete curing • Follows site safety, PPE and edge-protection rules At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
