Aluminium tig welder — Wirt County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an aluminium tig welder in Wirt County, West Virginia. You will work at a busy sheet-metal workshop. You will set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator; weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions; select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job; run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints; clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding; strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode. Ideal candidate: • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium Full-time with occasional weekends.
