Kitchen porter wanted in Harrison County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a kitchen porter in Harrison County, Iowa. You will be based in a catering unit. On a typical shift you will help unload deliveries and store stock in the dry store and cold room; empty bins, take out the rubbish and break down cardboard; clean, drain and descale the dish machine at the end of each shift; scrape leftover food off plates and pre-rinse before loading; hand-wash pots, pans and trays using the three-sink wash-rinse-sanitise method. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable lifting heavy pots, pans and stock crates • Able to work fast and keep up under service pressure • Basic food hygiene awareness (Level 2 certificate a plus) Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
