Advanced scaffolder — Borough of Tameside

Immediate opening: we are hiring an advanced scaffolder in Borough of Tameside, England. The job is at a shipyard. Day to day you will fix transoms and bracing to keep the structure square and rigid; handle, sort and stack tubes and fittings for loading out; fit guardrails, mid-rails and toe boards to every working platform; tighten right-angle and swivel couplers to torque with a podger spanner; hoist tubes, boards and fittings up by gin wheel and rope; set out base plates and sole boards on firm, level ground. What we are looking for: • Full use of harness, lanyard and fall-arrest equipment • Working-at-height / PASMA training an advantage 2+ years on the tools preferred. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
