Vacancy available: canteen cook (New Mexico)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a canteen cook in Roosevelt County, New Mexico. You will work at a fast-food outlet. On a typical shift you will keep the station clean and sanitised throughout the shift; prepare stocks, sauces and soups from scratch; chop, dice and portion vegetables, fish and meat; knead dough and bake breads such as roti, naan and paratha; taste and adjust seasoning for consistency; marinate meats and prepare curries, gravies and bases. Ideal candidate: • Food hygiene / FoSTaC certificate • Able to lift heavy stock pots and sacks of supplies • Familiar with North Indian, tandoor and continental cooking 6+ years on the tools preferred.
