Lathe operator • Blaenau Gwent, Wales

Join our team: we are hiring a lathe operator in Blaenau Gwent, Wales. You will work at a busy manufacturing plant. What we are looking for: • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • Basic record-keeping and part-counting skills Day to day you will run the first-off piece and check it against the drawing; record output, scrap and downtime on the production sheet; change tooling, dies and moulds during product changeovers; measure parts with vernier calliper, micrometer and go/no-go gauges; set up and start the machine as per the job card; load raw material and feed stock into the machine hopper. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
