Urgent requirement: fettler (Florida)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a fettler in Walton County, Florida. Ideal candidate: • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings Day to day you will skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring; tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle; carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand; inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects; melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces; cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch. Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Pay around $2,900 per month, based on your experience. Rotating shifts. Contact us to fix an interview.
