Crawler crane operator — Allegany County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a crawler crane operator in Allegany County, New York. The job is in a warehouse fitted with overhead cranes. Your main tasks: • Keep a safe distance from overhead power lines • Grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands • Read and interpret the load chart before every lift • Watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity • Climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins Requirements: • Understanding of hand and radio signals • A good head for heights for tower crane work Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
