The role involves: • Knock out dents and creases using a panel hammer and dolly • Straighten chassis and frames on a jig bench with pulling chains • Mask off glass, rubbers and trim before painting • Treat rust, apply seam sealer and underbody protection • Pull out deep dents with a slide hammer or stud welder • Mix and spread body filler, then block-sand to a smooth contour You should have: • Steady hand for filler work and block sanding • Trade certificate in auto body repair an advantage At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
