Ladle pourer wanted in Sioux County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a ladle pourer in Sioux County, Iowa. Requirements: • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor The role involves skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring; maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings; check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring; prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes. Pay around $5,400 per month, based on your experience. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
