Requirements: • Own basic hand tools and PPE • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings The role involves: • Strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode • Select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator Performance bonus on top of base pay.
