We are recruiting: we are hiring a cold room technician in Pulaski County, Georgia. The job is at a food processing plant. On a typical shift you will measure the compressor motor's amperage draw with a clamp meter; check superheat and subcooling and trim the charge; charge systems with refrigerant (R134a, R410a, R404a) to the correct weight; trace leaks with an electronic detector and soap solution; pull a vacuum on the system and check for trapped moisture. Requirements: • Able to read wiring diagrams and pressure-temperature charts • Available on-call and at weekends for breakdowns • Comfortable handling refrigerant gases and gauge manifolds Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
