Aluminium tig welder • Barton County, Kansas

Vacancy available: we are hiring an aluminium tig welder in Barton County, Kansas. You should have: • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight On the job you will handle: • Carry out 6G pipe welds where required • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion • Feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
