Vacancy available: we are hiring a powder coater in Northumberland, England. Day-to-day duties: • Degrease and clean metal parts before coating • Inspect the finish for runs, orange peel and bare patches • Hang components on jigs and conveyor hooks for even coverage • Top up and monitor pre-treatment chemical bath concentrations • Check dry film thickness with a DFT gauge in microns • Apply an even powder coat with the electrostatic spray gun Requirements: • 1-2 years experience in powder coating or spray painting • Able to operate electrostatic spray guns and curing ovens • Keen eye for finish quality and surface defects Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Contact us to fix an interview.
