Trailer driver — Southeast Fairbanks Census Area

Vacancy available: we are hiring a trailer driver in Southeast Fairbanks Census Area, Alaska. What we are looking for: • Confident with manual handling and load securing • Valid HGV/LGV Class 1 (C+E) licence • Minimum 2 years' long-haul experience Day-to-day duties: • Plan routes and rest stops in line with driving-hours rules • Check tyre pressures, engine oil, coolant and brake fluid levels • Couple and uncouple the trailer and check the fifth-wheel lock • Keep a safe following distance, adjusting for weather and load • Complete delivery notes, CMR paperwork and proof-of-delivery • Carry out daily walk-around vehicle checks before setting off Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
