Port container crane operator • Franklin County, New York

We are recruiting: we are hiring a port container crane operator in Franklin County, New York. You will be based at a precast concrete yard. Day-to-day duties: • Rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams • Watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity • Read and interpret the load chart before every lift • Keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL) • Keep a safe distance from overhead power lines Ideal candidate: • Able to read load charts and lifting plans • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
