Immediate opening: cnc production machinist (Michigan)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a cnc production machinist in Schoolcraft County, Michigan. You will work in a tool room. What we are looking for: • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred • Able to hold tolerances to ±0.01 mm • Minimum 2 years on CNC lathes with Fanuc or Siemens controls On a typical shift you will measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers; set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets; set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54); read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances. 2+ years on the tools preferred.
