Crane operator • Dakota County, Nebraska

Now hiring: we are hiring a crane operator in Dakota County, Nebraska. You will work in a warehouse fitted with overhead cranes. Day-to-day duties: • Park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift • Help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone • Keep a safe distance from overhead power lines • Work out the load weight and the lifting radius • Carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block You should have: • Strong attention to safety and load limits • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) • Understanding of hand and radio signals Full-time with occasional weekends.
