Heavy goods vehicle driver — Kearny County

Now hiring: we are hiring a heavy goods vehicle driver in Kearny County, Kansas. You will be based at a container freight yard. What we are looking for: • Clean driving record with no recent endorsements • Willing to take on night and multi-day trips Day-to-day duties: • Check load weight and axle distribution against permitted limits • Complete delivery notes, CMR paperwork and proof-of-delivery • Report defects and book the unit in for servicing • Reverse and carry out blind-side manoeuvres at loading bays • Keep a safe following distance, adjusting for weather and load • Secure loads with ratchet straps, chains and load bars Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Meals and transport allowance provided. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
