Vertical milling machine operator • Gwinnett County, Georgia

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a vertical milling machine operator in Gwinnett County, Georgia. On the job you will handle: • Run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production • Read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence • Apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed • Set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter • Hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm • Set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines Ideal candidate: • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces 1+ years on the tools preferred.
