Offshore rigger wanted in DeKalb County

We are recruiting: we are hiring an offshore rigger in DeKalb County, Illinois. The job is at a power plant. On a typical shift you will fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads; attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks; rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position; secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists; set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads; guide loads through tight openings into their final position. You should have: • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear Full-time with occasional weekends. Overtime paid at a premium rate.
