Fabricator-welder — Remo North

Now hiring: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Remo North, Ogun State. You will be based in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. You should have: • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • Able to pass a weld test on the spot On the job you will handle: • Weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut • Set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent • Clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
