Great opportunity: we are hiring a ceiling and wall plasterer in Arthur County, Nebraska. The job is on a busy domestic building site. On the job you will handle: • Dub out hollows and uneven areas before skimming • Set up trestles and scaffold boards for ceiling work • Dot-and-dab plasterboard to walls and ceilings • Skim plasterboard to a smooth finish ready for decoration • Check walls for plumb and level as you go • Mix gypsum plaster and cement render to a workable consistency Requirements: • Own set of trowels, floats, hawk and buckets • Physically fit for lifting bags of plaster and mixing all day • Willing to work on both new build and refurbishment sites Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
