Brick and block layer • Taylor County, Georgia

We are recruiting: we are hiring a brick and block layer in Taylor County, Georgia. You will work at a residential building site. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets Day to day you will brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go; spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel; building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses; cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder; forming arches, piers and reveals around openings. Full-time, day shift. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Pay around $3,900 per month, based on your experience. Contact us to fix an interview.
