Urgent requirement: tig welder (Texas)

Now hiring: we are hiring a tig welder in Nolan County, Texas. The job is at a busy sheet-metal workshop. Day-to-day duties: • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run • Carry out 6G pipe welds where required Requirements: • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
