Now hiring: we are hiring an aluminium tig welder in Jama'Are, Bauchi State. Ideal candidate: • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances The role involves: • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion • Carry out 6G pipe welds where required • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper • Feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle • Select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job Overtime paid at a premium rate. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
