Immediate opening: we are hiring a kitchen cook in Ouachita Parish, Louisiana. The job is in a hospital or office canteen. Day-to-day duties: • Manage the tandoor and skewer kebabs • Taste and adjust seasoning for consistency • Check deliveries and rotate stock using FIFO • Cook dishes to order on the grill, fry and sauté stations • Follow standardised recipes and stick to portion sizes Requirements: • Strong knife skills and speed on the line • Able to stand for long shifts and work in heat • Familiar with North Indian, tandoor and continental cooking At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
