Gas service engineer • Clay County, South Dakota

We are recruiting: we are hiring a gas service engineer in Clay County, South Dakota. The job is at a busy gas installation company. Requirements: • 2+ years' experience on domestic and commercial gas installations • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing • Own hand tools and pipe wrenches On a typical shift you will fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances; test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser; purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate; run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints; locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections; braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints. 4+ years on the tools preferred. Pay around $4,600 per month, based on your experience. Six days a week, one day off. Contact us to fix an interview.
