Concrete placer — Ife East

Now hiring: we are hiring a concrete placer in Ife East, Osun State. You will work on a road and bridge project. Day-to-day duties: • Erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour • Set out levels with a spirit level, line and pins • Cut control and expansion joints at the correct spacing • Patch honeycombs and tie-rod holes with non-shrink grout • Carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab • Mix concrete to the specified grade (M15, M20, M25) by hand or in a mixer You should have: • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules 4+ years on the tools preferred.
