Concrete placer — City of Radford

Immediate opening: we are hiring a concrete placer in City of Radford, Virginia. Day-to-day duties: • Give broom or steel-trowel finishes as specified • Discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms • Erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour • Cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods • 2+ years on RCC and concreting works Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
