Elevator repair technician — Brighton and Hove

Now hiring: we are hiring an elevator repair technician in Brighton and Hove, England. On a typical shift you will install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway; run load and overload tests with test weights; service the traction motor, brake and gearbox; rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables. Requirements: • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate Full-time with occasional weekends.
