Bodywork technician — Alger County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a bodywork technician in Alger County, Michigan. You will work at a commercial fleet workshop. Requirements: • Trade certificate in auto body repair an advantage • Good eye for panel gaps and body lines • Comfortable working with dust, noise and spray fumes On the job you will handle: • Mix and spread body filler, then block-sand to a smooth contour • Check alignment with measuring gauges after a structural pull • MIG-weld and spot-weld new panels into place • Feather-edge old paint and prime bare metal before respray • Straighten chassis and frames on a jig bench with pulling chains • Measure and set panel gaps for an even shut line Full-time with occasional weekends.
