Production line operative wanted in Argyll and Bute

Vacancy available: we are hiring a production line operative in Argyll and Bute, Scotland. The job is at a consumer goods manufacturing unit. On a typical shift you will tighten fasteners to the specified torque using a power screwdriver or torque wrench; report jams or tool faults to the line leader straight away; log defects and place rejected units in the rework bay; fit and bolt components onto the chassis as it moves along the conveyor; clean down the workstation and keep it to 5S standard; wear an ESD wrist strap when handling circuit boards. Requirements: • Comfortable meeting hourly production targets • Can read work instructions and basic measurements • Previous experience on a production or assembly line preferred 2+ years on the tools preferred.
