Urgent requirement: elevator repair technician (New Mexico)

Vacancy available: we are hiring an elevator repair technician in De Baca County, New Mexico. The job is in a hospital with heavy lift traffic. The role involves set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear; respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers; install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway; fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork; service the traction motor, brake and gearbox. Ideal candidate: • 2+ years on lift installation and maintenance • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways Overtime paid at a premium rate.
