Great opportunity: elevator service technician (Nebraska)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an elevator service technician in Pierce County, Nebraska. You will work at a busy lift company. The role involves fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork; service the traction motor, brake and gearbox; install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway; set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear; test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake. What we are looking for: • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota Six days a week, one day off.
