Immediate opening: we are hiring a gas pipe fitter in Cattaraugus County, New York. You will be based on residential and apartment building sites. Requirements: • Physically fit for lifting pipe, meters and cylinders • Driving licence for travel between sites The role involves fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances; fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls; thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant; complete gas safety certificates and label the finished installation; locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections; read isometric drawings and mark out the pipe routes. Full-time, day shift. Overtime paid at a premium rate. $2,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Contact us to fix an interview.
