Joiner wanted in Story County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a joiner in Story County, Iowa. You will be based at a shopfitting company. Your main tasks: • Lay laminate, engineered and solid wood flooring • Check work for level, plumb and square with a spirit level • Plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish • Finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain • Erect formwork and shuttering for concrete pours • Measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge Ideal candidate: • Confident with hand and power tools such as saws, routers and planers • Able to read technical drawings and cutting lists • At least 2 years' hands-on carpentry experience Full-time with occasional weekends.
