Requirements: • Skilled with HVLP and gravity-feed spray guns • Keen attention to detail and a steady hand • Sound knowledge of 2K paints, primers and hardeners The role involves: • Prime and seal bare metal to stop rust • Mask off trim, glass and rubber seals with tape and paper • Check the colour match under booth lights against the maker's swatch • Compound and polish the cured finish to a high gloss • Mix two-pack (2K) clear coat with hardener in the correct ratio • Apply etch primer to aluminium and galvanised panels On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
