Bar bender and fixer wanted in Ohio County

Now hiring: we are hiring a bar bender and fixer in Ohio County, West Virginia. You will work at a high-rise construction project. The role involves fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover; lap and splice bars to the specified lap length; lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman; form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions; bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine; place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Pay around $150 per day, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
