Argon arc welder • Ferry County, Washington

Great opportunity: we are hiring an argon arc welder in Ferry County, Washington. Day to day you will set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks; clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush; grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish; back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise; read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing; sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size. Requirements: • Able to pass a weld test on the spot • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard 4+ years on the tools preferred.
